Tenna Systems (formerly Tip&Cue) has been selected as a Stage 1 Winner in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Infrastructure (ARPA-I) Ideas Challenge, a national initiative focused on advancing innovative technologies to strengthen the resilience, safety, and efficiency of U.S. transportation infrastructure.

The ARPA-I Ideas Challenge attracted 448 concept paper submissions from across the country. Following a competitive evaluation process, 15 teams were selected as Stage 1 winners and semi-finalists. Tenna Systems was recognized for its approach to delivering real-time RF Spectrum Intelligence and GNSS interference awareness to address growing risks to positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services that underpin modern transportation systems.

GNSS disruptions—whether caused by jamming, spoofing, or unintentional interference—pose increasing challenges across aviation, maritime, rail, and emerging mobility domains. Tenna’s software-driven approach provides timely, actionable insight to help operators and decision-makers better understand, monitor, and respond to these threats.

As a Stage 1 winner, Tenna will participate in a U.S. Department of Transportation innovation workshop and is eligible to submit a full proposal for Stage 2, where a smaller group of finalists will be selected for further development and demonstration.

This milestone supports Tip&Cue’s mission to deliver software-defined spectrum intelligence that enables resilient, secure, and reliable mobility across the United States.
